| chevy 383 stroker What compression ratio are you people running at,would like to keep it at 9.5-1 so i can still run on unleaded but looks like most of you are about 10-1 are you on super unleaded ?. Thanks.Peter.      |

| Re: chevy 383 stroker 10:1 on iron heads, 10.5:1 on aluminium heads if running super unleaded. If your carb is set up properly you'll be okay on those. I never had an issue with 10.5 on my 383 with edelbrock heads

| Re: chevy 383 stroker Yep, as above, 10.5:1 Edelbrock Performer RPM heads. I use Shell Optimax whenever possible. All runs well on that. Rob
