Which pads?

Has anybody any suggestions on which brake pads to use.
I have renewed both front and rear brake discs with standard items now it`s time to order the pads.
I was going to order standard handbrake pads and standard rear brake pads but am not sure whether to upgrade the front pads and, if so, what sort?
The GD should be running around 300hp (similar torque) - maybe upgrading in the future with some sort of forced induction.
The car will be used mainly on the road with the occasional track day.

Has anyone any suggestions?

Paul

Re: Which pads?

Paul,

Ive gone for 'Green Stuff' pads front and back (normal handbrake pads)
They give better stopping power and no black brake dust

Re: Which pads?

Do they work ok while still cold?
I heard you have to warm them up a bit to get them to work?

Re: Which pads?

They are exceptional once bedded in. The virtual irradication of brake dust is worth it too, you just get a light brown haze after some time. Could be from the passanger though!
