| Re: Wish I'd never sold the Cobra now.... Simon, Sorry to see what has happened to that lovely car of yours - looks a reasonably easy repair assuming not much chassis damage (trying to be positive here). What happened? Hope you are ok and hope to see you soon. If you need any help, give me a call. GUMBALL

| Re: Wish I'd never sold the Cobra now.... Good news that it's not too bad then. Now the battle with your insurers I guess. Do you think you'll need a new body shell?

| Re: Wish I'd never sold the Cobra now.... Thanks guys, Now all the broken fiberglass is out of the way (see pic) it's plain that the damage is really quite superficial. The main structure of the chassis, the suspension pick up points, steering rack etc is all untouched, the only part twisted is the 1inch box section that holds the radiator and front clip. A replacement clip and radiator are already on order as is a new section for the front of the chassis. It's booked in to be repaired with a GTD specialist who has all the jigs and dimensions so it should come back perfectly aligned. Simon |
