Cobra Advice

Hi,
After around 15 years of Cobra ownership I have regrettably come to the decision to sell my AC Cobra. The advice I am looking for is
- where to sell/advertise
- how you come to an objective valuation
I have made an amateur website with all the info about the cobra,
Can anyone see any info that would benefit readers to be on there. Any feedback would be great.
Also if anyone is interested then send an e-mail (address on site)
Any help would be much appreciated.
Many Thanks,
Robin Thompson

Re: Cobra Advice

Hi Robin

Are you a member of the CRC? If so our classified sections in the mag as well as our site will get you straight to the people who want cobras.

Valuation. That depends where you are. Have`nt you valued it for insurance purposes? If you can get to Waltham Abbey, London, try Cheng Lim at Thunder Road Cars.

I do`nt know what other info you could give, you seem to have given the lot. Looks a good one though, and their are plenty of people out there looking for good cobras.

Re: Cobra Advice

Hi,
cheers for the replies.
I will hopefully stick an add up in a couple of days. IF anyone knows any other good places to advertise, that maybe they used sucessfully to buy/sell a cobra, it would be very handy.

With regards to the valuation I do have a value in my head and have it insured for 17-18k but i was just wondering what the general consensus was.

Thansk again,
Robin

Re: Cobra Advice

Robin,

Very tidy looking car. I would have said that you should sell it very quickly at 17-18K and if you're not desperate to sell then a low 20's number might just be achievable. Prices seem to have risen quite a bit over the last couple of years, so much so that used Daxs and AKs are making it into the £20K bracket (and of course we all know that RAMs are better).
