| Starter Hi there, I need a new starter, so I've disconnected it and just find the following information on a badge: Excel Automotive 3553 and 00037433. That's all. Does anybody know the company or has some tip to search for? It's a 350 Chevy. I don't want to take away the gearbox to count the tooth, because I need to know if I got 153 or 168. I've tried Google with no success Thanks Migge      |

| Re: Starter Fancy buying a 168 tooth starter? See my thread under classified! I guess to count teeth you could mark one, then spin the engine manually, marking every tenth tooth with tipex or whatever until you get to 153 or 168.. Adrian
