A Trimmer near Reading ?

Hi,

I have had my new Carpet set for the last six months and have come to the realisation that while I have unending enthusiasm to take the engine or suspension to bits, putting in the carpet & doing all of the fiddly bits doesn't do anything for me.

Hence can anyone recommend someone local to Reading, to come round and put it all in properly ?

Cheers

Alastair

Hi Alastair.

Don't know if you've found an interior trim specialist but you could try Trimmania in Boulton Road. I don't know if they are any good, I just noticed them when I was stuck in traffic last week. Tel no. is 9758700.

Where are you in Reading? I'm in Caversham, near to CPV. I'm currently converting my V12 Dax into a V8. Could meet up sometime to talk Cobbies

Ian

RE: A Trimmer near Reading ?

Ian,

I am on the other side of Reading in Wargrave, I would love to meet up, I have just sent my diff off to Ed Ward today, to be sorted so hopefully the car will be on the road in a couple of weeks. There are quite a few of us owners in the Reading area now, one of should start a region !

In the end I trimmed the car myself so if you do have any comments when you see it best keep them to yourself I like everyone else doing that job, got completely high on the fumes when doing the footwell.

As an aside, I was talking to Ed for ages diagnosing the diff problem and in the end Ihad to send him a photo over the net and it was sorted in seconds (the diff type in this case). The net is getting more and more useful.

Cheers

Alastair
