Chevy 350 Engine and Gearbox

Have found this engine on eBay. Take a look. Just getting started in this kit car game and was wondering if this would be the sort of engine I shoud be looking out for with the option to recondition and rebuild. I used the advice of some of the members to check out Northern Auto Parts for rebuild kits and struck gold. :thumb:

What are the opinions on this?

There's loads about, at £250 I'd risk it, but it sounds like the reserve will be close to a grand, which is a big no, no.

give me a call i have 48no engines i am importing ,20 no of which are 350 chevys, 10 are fuel injection ones.with vortex heads. i have some 302 and 351walso coming with the shipment.

I'm interested in one of the 350 injections. Can you give me some more details or are they en-route? Where can I touch up my knowledge about these engines? What about gearbox and running gear etc? Condition? Price range? etc..............

hi they will be on route week 16th august,
what geabox do you want?
condition , these are cut outs so i would advise a strip down and rebuild as required.
i am confused as to running gear?

Am becoming increasingly interested in the AK series of kit car, for the build. I would like to obviously see one in the flesh, so to speak. Does anyone know of any gatherings/meetings in the north of England/ Scotland. Would like to get a test drive but Peterborough is a wee bit of a distance. If anyone can help that would be great!
