| Meet this Sunday Assuming there is a Kent area meet this Sunday (can someone confirm that they are going) does anyone fancy are cruise over from Essex / Herts / East Anglia / wherever for a meet up at Westerham???? We could meet up at Thurrock services, about midday?.......assuming they sky doesn't open up!! Post here if you fancy coming along. GUMBALL

| Re: Meet this Sunday Paul, I don't know how many attend as I usually go to the Essex area meets, but am free this weekend and thought I'd shoot over to Kent since there was no rain forecast (touch-wood). Last time I went was a couple of years ago and we had 20 plus Cobras then (but that included the guys from Essex that came over). Go on, come along... GUMBALL

| Re: Meet this Sunday Two things I have now learnt about the Kent area meet: 1. They don't hang around! and 2. This is most likely due to the particularly viralent wasp and horse fly population - one person was observed using the 'Tai Chi' technique of wasp repulsion (clearly ineffective) whilst another club member was witnessed attempting to glass one of the pesky critters   Oh yes and C, Marina heads (1.8 TC?) provide quite acceptable performence in a cobra (I may have misheard that conversation though  )Seriously, good to meet up with whoever I spoke to - and a lot of fun playing 'TCR' racing down the M25 - looking forward to the video Meanest looking cob award goes to the black magnum *rubs knees vigorously in a Vic Reeves stylee* Hmmm, I did £25 worth of petrol - d'you think it's running a bit rich? *ahem* |
