Goodwood Revival

I know quite a few people are going to Donnington next weekend but unfortunately it's too far for me to travel (and probably being that far north just a little bit too whippets & warm beer for a sophisticated southerner). So I'm going to Goodwood Revival, I've heard very good reports about it, and apparently when you book your ticket if you tell them you're going in a pre 1966 car there is special free parking set aside (I know our cars are newer than that but they will be accepted if you tell them it's an AC Cobra and don't confuse the girlie on the phone).

As far as I know Andy Burrows from GD will have a stand there. It's on Friday, Saturday & Sunday, I haven't made my mind up which day to go yet but before I book (next few days before it's sold out) I was wondering is anyone else heading down there who wants to meet up there or on route. Most people go in period costume - I'll probably be a wing commander as long as no-one outwanks me.

Yes but I do know how to pull one of your northern lasses and ended up married to the sweet young thing and that's why I have so much ammunition to throw at you sweet northern working class people (my wife just said I'm an arse)

I'm going with a mate on the Friday, there are still tickets available from Goodwood Motor Circuit themselves. I think Saturday & Sunday are both fully booked anyway.

Hi Dodger, have got tickets for Friday & they are also sending me a pass for the pre 1966 classic car park. I was only able to get Admission Only tickets but that shouldn't be a problem as I'm going dressed (true to form) as a spiv. Also I may be able to ponce some passes when we get there (don't know if I'll do as well as my wife the other year who managed to snozzle up to Lord March at lunch). I'll have my mobile with me or will be coming through your way if you want to meet up on the way down. Hope to see you Friday, Pat.
