| Re: Filler neck HI Paul, We sell them here at www.shinybitz.co.uk ( got your e-mail) Also the caps. Stainless can be soldered to brass in two ways. Both methods use silver solder ( not the stuff you get from electrical shops) with a high silver content. This is quite expensive stuff. You will also need some flux ( again specially for st/st) This can also be expensive as you can only buy it in 500g tubs ( if using hi temp) This can cost as much as £20-£40 depending on where you buy it. The rods can be £3- £10 ( depending on method used) Remember to thoughly clean your parts. Acetone is a good cleaner. The stainless would benifit from a good clean with amonia as this helps with the flow. Also remember ( if using high temp) do not "burn" the st/st as you will have to take apart and start again. I would do a few practice runs to be save. If you need any further help give me a bell 07720713885 or drop me a mail. Rgds Roger www.shinybitz.co.uk |
