RE: Newark???

Didn't get there in the end, dicky tummy and persisting it down here. I would also be interested to go for next year. I was at Harewood show today and it was incredibly good loads of cars and nice legs to view.

RE: Newark???

I enjoyed it, the turnout was excellent with cobras overflowing the club area. Weather was good, interesting autojumble and accessory stands, there was a guy selling new electric rad fans with shroud for a tenner. Loads of people there, with the club area being busy with several prospective new owners. There weren't many company stands, I saw Hawk, Pilgrim and AK.

RE: Newark???

I went with SWMBO and the kids in tow... I thought it was quite good. Not a lot of manufacturers there but as a kit car show it was MUCH better than Harrogate's Cars in the Park. I thought the Auto Jumble stalls were excelent. Even if I didn't find the Marina brake master cylinder float and switch that I need.

And Who's is the Pink Cob? come out come out wherever you are.

RE: Newark???

Went on the Saturday after he game.............I thought it very quiet and subdued..........not many manufacturers about not many cars either. All a bit disappointing for £7 really.........

Cheers,

Tony

RE: Newark???

There were quite a few cars on Sunday. The weather was better too. I am looking forward to going to these shows next year without having to pay. SWMBO payed yesterday. The only reason that she aggreed to go was because there were some "robot wars" robots there for our George to see.
