Tap Supplier

Anyone suggest where I can buy a 1/8 NPT tap , the oil temp sensor wont work taped to the sump

Hi Gary

I have a 1/8" (27TPI) NPT tap you can borrow if it helps. It has never been washed or mended...

Will even come post free if you can answer my plea for help today on the forum......

If you really want to buy one you could try Milton Keynes Metals Ltd on 01296 713631 or J A Crew & Co on 01386 841979 both these companies have all sorts of tools and other bits and pieces

I,ve got 4 of them said taps sitting in my nice shiny toolbox.Would you like one, or 2 in case you break one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.I'll even send it up via the underground if you like.Second thought no point as you dont seem to be there much!!!!!!!!!!!!.
E-mail address and I'll send it/them up/down or as you have so much spare time take a drive down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!????????????????????

May even be SVA compliant.I will check to see if they are.You could even bolt them to the front scuttle while you check for leaks round them wiper holes!!!!!!!!!!!!

you got SVA booked yet.Looks like I may have to make an apperance at Chelmsford centre as Gillingham is closing in 2 weeks for refit so unlikly i'll get in there.If not book yours for same day and we can both fail/batter the inspector together!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
