My Son had a toy steering wheel which he used to spin furiously, making loads of go-faster noises, leaning into all the tight corners, perhaps running the government feels a bit like that. You make all the noises, but when you stop you haven't really gone anywhere.

Steve

I didn't write the article, but he does say some nice things.

Neither did I get the opportunity to check the accuracy of the article.

RE: Kit Car Mag - A Must Read!!

What article. I've ordered both "which kit" and "kit car" from my local (sells 8 cans of 5% lager for £5.00) shop and the kit Car mag has yet to appear. Come on guys, please spill the beans. I cannot wait.

RE: Kit Car Mag - A Must Read!!

Vince,

I was wondering who Viz based the "Ace" character on................I now believe I know !!

I too have been hunting for said article but Kit Car magazines are not stocked by my local newsagents...........any chance of a copy being posted on the website or is Robert too modest.....come on whats a small copyright infringement between friends........

Cheers,

Tony.

RE: Kit Car Mag - A Must Read!!

I've got the June Issue of Kit Car and the article is the second part about Omex performance electronics. What am I missing here. Is that engage brain before typing again Rob? Surely you must be talking about the July issue, which will have just come out?

RE: Kit Car Mag - A Must Read!!

Rob,

You obviously must have taken him on a very gentle run as he didn't sound as frightened as some of the other 'victims' you've terrified in that monster you've created.

A great write up - You must be proud -> That last bit where it states your a very happy man and wouldn't change a thing - Did I not hear you right then when at Stonleigh you said you were going to change the block to an Ali one in a bid to get more horses?

RE: Kit Car Mag - A Must Read!!

Dan

I took him out for a spin, then he drove. He is however more than familiar with silly cars with lots of hp, and as he mentioned, the speed is soo deceptive that it is actually disconcerting, as I have found myself in big ban territory without realising it.

I will be going for an ali block this winter and a number of other enhancements as I would like to see 650 to 700hp, which should make things quite interesting.
