Wind deflectors and sun visors

Can any one send me in the right direction to find a working drawing of these two items... I'm going to make my own out of bullet proof lexan. Alternatively, if any one can measure how big theirs are (oohh err!!!) And post details including radii etc. Many thanks.

Re: Wind deflectors and sun visors

Andy,
I've made mine by copying an existing item to 4 mm lexan. It's bulletproof, but not scratch proof. You can saw them easily with an electric jigsaw (fine teeth!) anf file an sand the edges down to shape and then polish them.
Every make of kit has a different shape. The dax wind wings are too long on the bottom to close, so I've shortened them. Ideally one of the colleagues should lend you one to copy.
Good luck!:thumb:
cheers,
Pim

'Bullet proof lexan'

If people are going to shoot at you, you had best stay indoors mate!

Seriously though, give it another month and most Cobras will be tucked up in bed for the winter, so you should be able to borrow and copy what you need easily.
Best find someone local, 'cos I don't think wind wings will travel too well in the post!

Cheers,
Neil.
