Re: V5

I would try a Ford specialist breakers , there's plenty of them.
That said Mk3s are getting scarce now.
Use a Sierra V5 the SVA and DVLA won't know the difference. :thumb:

Re: V5

Kevin.

Try a post on here http://www.buysellcortina.co.uk/home.htm There is a place near Crawley that strips a lot of Contina's for Banger racing. An ask on the forum should point you there :thumb:

Re: V5

This is a "Just supposing" post isn't it.
Cos this is an open forum (The whole world can read....Including Civil Servants)and just buying a V5 without buying the whole car would be illegal.

Careful.

Re: V5

You are correct in your assumptions Dave, this is a hypethetical debate. It would be handy have a complete car for spares tho, ours lacks little touches such as door catches and the like. Also you can't have enough axles either, just in case the cossie lump rips the drive safts off.
I have taken ours back to the bare frame now, so it is in a worse state than it was 18 months ago.
I have taken big undies advice, and am going to buy this por15 paint stuff to coat the frame in.
Thank you Dave, you are a godsend.
Cheers
