I have a "friend" who clocked 164 in his Cobra on the way back from the Ace Cafe meet last week. The Ultima with him couldn't keep up but the 4.5 Cerbera was having a good go.

I'm praying it wasn't Sunday afternoon (after CRC Meet).
No visit from the Tax man with a blue light yet, or a summons, so I'll keep my fingers crossed eh?

Mind you, I was pottering through a 30 limit (cos there's a mobile camera git there a lot) a couple of weeks ago (in the Cobra) and an old BMW 3 series blasted past me at about 120mph!
It is a straight road and should never be a 30 limit, but he was just stupid. Maybe he was miffed at having his wing mirrors blown off by me on the main road 5 minutes earlier!
I was very proud of myself for not being goaded into chasing and racing the guy. A few years ago I don't think I could have resisted.

Hope it wasn't Sunday either, as it happened on the A380 from Exeter to Newton Abbot, the day I was giving an Audi TT a run for his money.

Let us know how you get on with an Evo 8 FQ340. The new guy who works for me(Yes a new guy called Mark) has one and it's something else.....Not my cup of tea though.

BTW He doesn't drink a slab of beer for breakfast, but he certainly knows ow to bolt cars together.

Someone I know got done by a VW polo last Folkestone meet on a tuesday night on the M20 doing 120mph. He couldn't go any faster because he could not see as his headlights are rubbish.
