Halibrand GT40 rep wheels - where?

I am trying to restore my Perana V8 Capri Perana as per this:-

http://www.brooklands280.com/gunstonperana.htm

I am looking for Halibrand replica wheels that would match the ones fitted to the Capri shown in the pictures. They were from a 1968 GT40. I do not have the exact specifications yet but they will probably be 15" 7.5" fronts and 15" x 8.5" rears. They must have 4 stud (lug) fitting to suit the Ford Europe wheel / stud dimensions.

Anyone know a good supplier of such wheels either UK, Oz, SA, USA - doesn't matter as long as they are good, not silly money and can be drilled for Ford 4 stud. Don't want much do I??

regards Chris

Try Compomotive (UK) their HB replica wheels look like that, not sure about the 4 stud fixing but they are a split rim bolt on with a dummy spinner.

Image wheels will have them on the shelf. Cheaper and better that compomotive (More studs in rim, less chance of leaking) tel. 0121 5222 442 :thumb:

Re: Halibrand GT40 rep wheels - where?

Sounds like good advice from DB (as usual!) I have had no leakage from the Compomotives, there are a lot of bolts around the edge, every inch or so, but the spinner attachment is suspect and I found Compomotive to be VERY unhelpful when it came to after sales service so Image sounds like a good bet (and cheaper too!)
