Sierra column

I was thinking of changing my column stalks for the shinybitz stainless ones. My problem is I have the square hazard light column which has the horn on the stalk.
This leads me to the following questions....

1.Is it okay to have a horn button on the dash?
2.can the column be modified so that a centre horn can be fitted?
3.Is it easier to change the column altogether and get a round hazard light with centre horn fittings?
4. forget it altogether
cheers
Mike

Re: Sierra column

you can put a horn on the dash

you can put a horn on the steering wheel easy enough, you just need the horn connector from the back of a sierra steering wheel. I am sure I just got the wiring bits from a scrappie, and used them on my column, I am pretty sure all the castings are identical

Re: Sierra column

Middle of last year I changed the stalks on my Sierra set up for some home mads Stainless ones and kept the same set up by putting a button on the end Looks good too if you want some pics I will take some and post them. Horn was always in the centre of the steering wheel.
