Chassis protection

Hi All,

I have Just bought a Euro 427 Chassis and plan to fit a Sumo body and Granada MkIII running gear. I am not Galvanizing the chassis so which protection do you from experience would be best to use. Primer, paint, stone chip guard etc, etc.
Thanks in advance,

Bruce.

Re: Chassis protection

Bruce,

We have a product over here that works really well for metal suject to chipping and rust. It's called POR-15 paint. I wish I had known about it when I was building my car 20 years ago. I have touched up areas where the original paint had chipped or rusted and it works great. You can read about it here: http://www.por15.com/

Re: Chassis protection

You can get POR15 and other decent paints from these people. Maybe not the cheapest but definitely good service and quality products.
