Header tank/tranny oil cooler/guages

Hi to all, A couple of queries for you knowledgeable types!just about to fabricate a coolant header tank for my dax (429 bbf/c6), thinking about using 4" alloy tube cut/shut with bottom feed and overflow etc, what size would the tank need to be? and what are the normal pipe sizes for the attached hoses? on another note I need to fit a tranny oil cooler for the c6, where do others mount theirs? and anyone any experience of the dual circuit ones available? and finally I quite like the telemetrix guages available from europa, are they sva compliant? if not which are? Thanks Dave

And last but not least an engine oil cooler.

Dave
I used the original type as supplied by Finnishline, works a treat. Get the self assembly one and you can mount the tube stubs where you like.
Are you still interested in thew TCI rebuild and upgrade kit and chrome pan for the C6?

Thanks for the replies, Dave re the positioning of those coolers, what about effect on the rad?(airflow?) I was wondering about the dual circuit type to service both tranny and engine oil.Hi Bigblock, what does the finishline cooler look like? and how many rows are required to be efficient? re the c6 kit possibly, but all funds going in to other things at present. regards dave

Hi Dave.
It just means that the fan will have to do more work. The cooler for the Air Con will help though.
