Heater matrix plumbing

Hi,

Quick one, should be easy to answer.

On the heater matrix, do you plumb the top hose (of the heater) with the "out" of the manifold, so this will push hot water down the radiator matrix, or do you do it the other way round?

I suppose one thought is that you should put the hot feed from the manifold to the bottom so hot water rises? But I then thought if you had the fan running on the heater then it should be fed hot to the top, because as it cools it would aid flow down the matrix.

So which way is it?

Thanks

Alastair
