| tremec - speedo hi everyone, alot of you have the tremec box so and so do i, so i thought i'd ask, how do i attach/what do i need to attach to get a speedo to work? also where do i buy the bits to make it work etc ? (close your eyes and imagine i have no idea). |

| Re: tremec - speedo James, I bought an electronic take-off to suit the Smiths clocks - all through GD I suppose it depends on whether you need mechanical or electronic If you go for the electonic route, the connectors are difficult to source - I 'made some to suit' but I would have been far happier buying transducer and connector together - just a thought

| Re: tremec - speedo James The newer Tremec boxes TKO500 and TKO600 have an electronic speedo transducer fitted as standard, however you will need a blanking plate for the mechanical speedo hole. I have the Smiths instruments and the electronic transducer works fine with this. Best regards Glyn |

| Re: tremec - speedo Hi, Ive got a Tremec TKO II with mechanical speedo. You can get the bits from Real Steel (Cable/Clamp and bolt)
