Re: tremec - speedo

James,

I bought an electronic take-off to suit the Smiths clocks - all through GD

I suppose it depends on whether you need mechanical or electronic

If you go for the electonic route, the connectors are difficult to source - I 'made some to suit' but I would have been far happier buying transducer and connector together - just a thought

Re: tremec - speedo

James

The newer Tremec boxes TKO500 and TKO600 have an electronic speedo transducer fitted as standard, however you will need a blanking plate for the mechanical speedo hole. I have the Smiths instruments and the electronic transducer works fine with this.

Best regards

Glyn

Hi,

The blanking plug is Ford part # F2UZ7H183A

I have not tried to get one in the UK yet though.
