Brake Upgrade for jag base

Getting some brake fade after few laps on the track + discs pretty old anyhow. Wanting to upgrade discs/pads; currently running on the front standard xj6 jag discs with pagid fast road pads. Can't afford the jump nor can justify AP racing brakes. Seen some EBC 'turbo groove' discs (terrible name!) which are a direct replacement for 69.33 each, + no surprise, advised red/yellow pads by tech team. I get the idea of heat dissipation with the grooves but not the circular impressions, surely worth cross drilling these ?! Any thoughts, suggestions where if to cross drill etc.

Robert

A member of the forum (Russ) is selling drilled EBC discs and pads, a lot cheaper than £63 + the dreaded.

Have a look, no I'm not on commission. :thumb: :thumb:
