| Stainless Front Bumper I am looking for Stainless Steel front bumpers (Nudge Bars?). But because there are a lot of differences I prefer to first see some pictures from yours installed. Please do me favor a post some pictures of the bumper and let me know the source of the bumper. Thanks in advance. Cobra289

| Re: Stainless Front Bumper Steve, Car looks good.:thumb: Are those Lucas 488 lights at the back? I've got them for mine but they aren't 'E' marked. Did you have them fitted for SVA and did you have any probs? Alan

| Re: Stainless Front Bumper Alan. There was a discussion on this a while back. I believe both GD and Dax fit them as standard. The concensus was that provided any light emits the required amount of light, Sva will pass them regardless of E marking. I may be wrong, but my tester certainly didnt look for E markings.

| Re: Stainless Front Bumper Cobra289 These are Dax's front overriders and nudge bar. Not cheap, but good quality and stainless. Steve - I like your front no. plate - strategically placed for speed (s)cameras?! Alan, Chris is right that the Dax light kit includes these as standard, and they aren't E marked. This didn't seem to bother my SVA tester, who only seemed interested in them working. He was interested, however, in the E markings of the headlights and the fog light, but this might just have been to save him checking brightness and colour and what not. Andy

| Re: Stainless Front Bumper After 19 years of using the nice chrome bumpers and over-riders from DAX they got some rusty and it is time to improve the looks. I prefer stainless because there are easy to polish after some years of driving. Andy I have checked the price list of DAX and they don't have stainless nudge bars they sell chrome one at the front for 80 pounds. You can check that are stainless with a magnet, if the magnet stick, they are plain carbon steel. See my picture of the actual bumper. Steve G Do you have an e-mail address of Brasscraft? Regards, Cobra289

| Re: Stainless Front Bumper Cobra289 Mmmmnnn... I see your point about Dax's price list. I could have sworn I'd bought a stainless one though - I prefer stainless wherever possible and thought it was only the screen that was chrome since there doesn't seem to be much choice there. Perhaps I didn't buy it from Dax, my memory isn't fantastic! It doesn't look the same - the fittings to the overriders - as in your pic., is that how they still look? I'm not with my car that often so can't check with a magnet right now. Maybe Dax offer a stainless one if you ask? Sorry for the confusion. Andy

| Re: Stainless Front Bumper Have just looked up Brasscraft in the latest Snake Torque and they only charge 70 for the front nudge bar and 80 for the rear. Maybe Dax have upgraded to Stainless and forgotten to change the description - I can't imagine they'd get many takers if they're more expensive and only chrome. They don't advertise an email address, their number is +44 1252 782702 Andy
