| Engine Mounts? Evening all. After a conversation about Engine mounts I am second guessing myself again..(Thanks Anthony.) What can you get away with on the rubber mounting front. Or more to the point what is, if anything, checked for during the SVA? (I know that integrity and security are checked) Do you need the full bobbin, rubber between two pads, setup, or use anything that gives you a little play, or even teeth shattering direct mount? I need to use something VERY low profile and was considering sandwiching the engine mount between 2 bits of rubber (in a top hat arrangement) and bolting to the chassis. (similar to the attached picky) Is this an acceptable form for SVA? Or do I need to totally re-butcher the mountings again!! Over to you Cheers Dean.
