Fuel Pump

Does anyone know if the 125 l/hr fuel pump on premierwiring.co.uk is suitable for a 2.9V6 200BHP fuel injected engine.
The pmp i am looking at is the facet pump as i presume the low pressure ones are for carbed engines.
Cheers

Re: Fuel Pump

Hi Kevin

As far as i am aware the pump that you are looking is not up the job, as the fuel injection system requires much higher pressure into the fuel pressure regulater, as this is what adjust the fuel supply.

My suggestion is a quick phone call to premier wiring as I have used them for various parts and they are only to helpfull with information.

Re: Fuel Pump

I have just secured a deal on a brand new Ford granada / Sierra 2.9V6 fuel pump. Seeing as this is the pump for the job, this should be the sensible option. Thanks for cautious advice.
Cheers
