I don't think any Ford will.

Re: crank balancing

Hi Dave,

I took mine to Basset Down and was very pleased with the work and service. A guy called Phil Selwyn-Smith runs the place and he is about as thorough as you can get. Cost was a little under 200Quid.

You will need to have the entire reciprocating assembly available for him.

Clutch Pressure Plate, Flywheel, Harmonic balancer, Crankshaft, Con Rods, Rod Bearings, Pistons, Rings, Gudgeon pins, C Clips and all fasteners.

Postage is an option, I drove my stuff there and picked it up after. Took about a week.

Hope that helps.

Give me a call if you need any other info, I am a stones throw from you.

Re: crank balancing

Dave: Sorry mate, lost track of my feminine side for a moment there, come around for some herbal tea and we can talk about relationships. Seriously, I don't really subscribe to this Ford/Chevy silliness, the engines are so similar it makes no difference. Your 508 sounds awesome (or wik-id if you come from Reading!).
