Thought this may interest tose of you that have opted for injection.
I have just received my wide band air/fuel ratio gizmo from Jegs in the States. Having looke at the software and equipment it would appear that one of its functions is to map aginsta chart it can produce that mimicks the one for the initial mapping.
Unfortunately I know nothing about mapping systems, but apparently you can adjust the numbers automatically from the unit to get the optimum air/fuel ratio throughout the range. On the basis that apparently base mapping aires towards the rich side there may be free power to be had. If you go to the Innovate Motorsports Web-site there is a video which shows you how it is done and describes better exactly what it does.
If you understand it better it may be worth you expanding on this post to say whether you think it is worthwhile or not.
For those that are interested, you can now get a lambda lead that converts most gauges into a wideband sensor. This should help you go a stage further by being in a position to tune with your gauge. As narrow band only detects highs and lows the lights are just an approximation and normally way out in relation to the point in time when the light actually displays - so do not adjust or tune from a gauge unless it is at present or converted to Wideband.

The Unit cost about £250 from the States as for some weird reason I had no duty to pay at this end - I cease to nderstand.
Hope the above is useful to some
