stolen xj 40 hubs

i have just got home and some nice person has stolen my xj40 hub assemblies off of my drive .These were tucked away by the front door, and only taken apart yesterday.
i still have the drive shafts and brake calipers ,so if anyone has a set of hubs with brake assemblies i could buy could they please email me.
the muppets left a very good power lock diff assembly , unfortunately i do not need this , only the hubs. bad luck what.

Re: stolen xj 40 hubs

bad luck adrian
some 'folks' will stoop to new low levels.....i had a mini+boot full of tools stolen, outside the house ,years ago ... not a nice feeling is it?
if only 'they' put some energy into doing something constructive/useful we'd all be better off..SCUM !!!!!!!!!
don't lose hope though not everyone's like 'them'...as you'll know from this sites contributors, best of luck with sourcing their replacements,
cheers

Re: stolen xj 40 hubs

That sucks! You really do have to chain everything down these days but I bet the Buggers would nick the chain as well!

Hope you manage to find replacements OK.

Re: stolen xj 40 hubs

Some nice young chap decided to attempt to pinch some christmas lights on our tree in the front garden one year.:whatever:

You should have seen his face when i came hairing out the door brandishing a broom handle and shouting at the little f****r

Police were very happy with the CCTV footage, even commenting how impressed they were on how high the tosser jumped.

.
Mind you i did get a little advice on what not to wave and shout at midnight.....

Let’s hope they tried to lift up the diff before leaving it there! You might wish to ask around at the local Chiropractors for even A&E!
