Roll bar for RAM Cobra

Could somebody tell me what kind of roll bar were fitted on the RAM Cobra? What kind of steel tubing was used? (type, thickness, diameter ....) . Were all RAM Cobra equipped with single roll bar? (whas this a standard equipment for the Ram?).
I need these information to comply with the rules for dragster racing in Street category, under 12.99 sec.
Thanks for help.

Re: Roll bar for RAM Cobra

It is 2" tube, the chassis is set up for single hoop or wide, you could buy either from RAM. Pretty sure the factory ones where more decorative than useful. For racing you would need someone to bend you one up. The single hoop is a standard radius, Pipecraft down on the south coast made mine.

Re: Roll bar for RAM Cobra

Thanks for your answer: if the roll bar was a standard equipment on the Ram Cobra, even if only decorative, it would be accepted according to our local regulations. If the roll bar was not standard equipment, our regulations requires that I have a roll bar meeting specific dimensions and geometry, which I try to avoid because it would be very ugly.

Re: Roll bar for RAM Cobra

It was standard equipment, maybe give www.realmengineering.com a call, they still supply some RAM bits and might be able to source a roll bar.
