| Alternative fuel cap for SVA To pass the SVA I need a temporary solution for my Aston fuel cap; -to buy a flush fit style cap just for the SVA seems a waste of money - someone told me that it is acceptable for the SVA to mount the fuel cap inside the boot. Anyone want to comment on that rumour? - production cars have incorporated caps, so s breaker is no solution either Any suggestions are more than welcome! Thanks |

As for opening the boot to have to fill up and the risk of spilling petrol in there I'm not sure about that especially with regard to SVA etc. Perhaps someone else knows a more definitive answer.:thumb:

| Re: Alternative fuel cap for SVA I did once read that someone used one of those plastic temporary green fuel caps you can get from h@@@@@ds to replace your original cap. They have the relevent stampings for approval etc. Worth a thought?

| Re: Alternative fuel cap for SVA True Lee, but wouldn't loaning out an SVA kit be kind of making a mockery of the whole safety aspect of the SVA test? Dax's last demonstrator was capable of passing the SVA right up to the point of them selling it apart from wind wings from what I can remember.
