Dual Circuit brakes

I am running with single circuit brakes with a servo and would like to convert to dual circuit but without having to change the pedal box.
Rallydesign sell a dual chamber master cylinder which gives a 50/50 bias but it is 1" bore whereas my existing master cylinder is 0.7" bore.
Can anyone tell me if I fit the dual chamber with the existing calipers will it work and will the only result be shorter pedal travel?
Thanks
Harry

Re: Dual Circuit brakes

The travel will be shorter but also the pedal effort required will increase by 43% for the same braking effect. If you are also losing the servo in the swap, the increase in pedal pressure will be much more.
