Heater Matrix

So the good news first. A big thanks to Tony D for finding a polo heater for me, and helping to extract it this morning.

The bad news, obviously took a corner or two too fast on the way home and have managed to damage half a dozen fins on the heater matrix whilst it was in the boot. I've kind of straightened them out, but still a bit of a mess. Can anyone advise on whether this is terminal and if I'll need to locate another one - or can I get away with it safely ?

cheers
dave

Re: Heater Matrix

Hi Dave,

Good seeing you this morning.

A few bent fins wont cause a problem, it's if it leaks that means its beggared.

Give it a check over by sticking some water in it, if it leaks I can always go and get the heater matrix out of the white polo we saw this morning as the motor and housing was obviously bust and it'll be cheap.

I'm off work next week so let me know if you need the second matrix and I'll go and get it.

Cheers,

Tony
