Re: differential

Are you sticking the granada diff on a sierra based existing setup? Failing that can you not go to a scrappies and get the rest of the granada running gear from the back end?

Re: differential

As Kev said if you are changing a sierra diff to a granada one then changing the rear running gear will give you some problems -ie
Handbrake cable
And the worst one will be the hubs of the granada are five stud not four stud
as the sierra ones, thus you will have to change the wheels too !

Re: differential

I've dragged my diff out today which is a 7.5" Granada Scorpio.
The output shaft flanges are 100mm (101mm to be exact).
It sounds as if you are having similar problems to me so if you'd like to PM me (handjgilbert@aol.com) we may be able to help each other.
Harry

Re: differential

www.interford.co.uk forums are a good source of ford info. If you go on the sierra forum they are a lot more active than the granada one.
I am sure that 'madoldbugger' might be able to come up with a solution.
Good luck.
Cheers

Re: differential

managed to sort problem today, I already had a Granada 7.5" diff fitted to the car, I wanted a lower ratio so managed to get Scorpio diff that had a lower ratio but it had 108mm output flanges, which the later Scorpio had but managed to take these flanges out and swoped them with the original diff - so problem sorted.
