| Couple of SVA questions I seem to remember something about the need to cover wiper motor and any other 'sharp' bits under the passenger side dashboard with carpet to pass SVA? Is this right? Also is it a requirement to use split pins in the Willans harness eyes to stop the faint possibility of them dropping off the eye bolts? Thanks

| Re: Couple of SVA questions I covered everything remotely sharp with carpet/foam. Whether or not you need to is a matter for discussion but if you failed on having them uncovered, you'd kick yourself. I made some ally panels up and covered them in carpet. Re: the harnesses. I didn't have any split pins in mine - the spring loaded catch should stop them coming off. A split pin will hinder any potential harness thieves, but make sure you cover the ends in something in case they are "too sharp" ![]()

| Re: Couple of SVA questions Hi Nick One of my fail points was the wiper motor not being covered. I made a panel and covered it in carpet. I go for my retest on Saturday so I'll let you know how I get on.
