Tremec TR500 Gear Box Reverse Terminals

Does anyone know the thread size for the reverse light terminals on a Tremec TR500 box ? The kit car and engine/box supplier do not know !.
This is my first attempt at kit car building and as a total amateur, car nearly finished but wish to add reverse light activated by gear box.
Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Tremec TR500 Gear Box Reverse Terminals

Hi,

If you contact classicchevy5speed.com they will be able to help. The supplied my Tremec gearbox to me. The part number for the reverse light switch is pn: 2606249. You will also need the gasket for the switch. The part number for the gasket is pn: 2605032. Unfortunately I don't have the thread info but if you contact classicchevy5speed they will be able to send you the above components. The switch should be torqued up to 12-16ftlbs.

Ask for Jeff Mortesen ( "jeff@classicchevy5speed.com" ) , telephone number is 001 760-438-2244
