ford cosworth diff

I've sourced a Granada cosworth diff for my Pilgrim and wondered if anyone knows how difficult it is to overhaul one of these diffs? Has anyone come across a website detailing the overhaul of this diff?. I'm hoping it's ok to use straight away but while it's off the car i'd rather overhaul if it's not too difficult a task,

Cheers :thumb:

Re: ford cosworth diff

Hi Tony,
I asked the same question about a year ago and it would seem that no one has done it.
I found a web site that showed you how to overhaul a Scorpio diff and it don't look easy and you need a lot of special tools.
Overhaul kits are available on Ebay for about 70pnds.
I took the rear cover off mine and the wear pattern looked good with the right amount of backlash so I contented myself with replacing the oil seals which is reasonably straight forward.

Hi Tone
Try www.interford.co.uk They are S##T hot for all 'normal car' problems.
There is a section for granada on there, so that is your best bet.
Good luck.
Is this the 7.5 ich LSD you have?
Cheers
