| Using my new spray gun I have bought a spray gun for my new compressor (one of the ones that comes i the 5 piece kit from Screwfix/Machinemart), for the purposes of spraying some Landrover bits (so doesn't need to be that good a finish). I'd also like to use it for spraying my wooden gates with stuff - is it suitable for this if properly thinned?

| Re: Using my new spray gun Yeah, as long as you can thin it sufficiently, and make sure you give it a good clean out afterwards.... Just watch where you spray it, its amazing how stuff can travel in the air. I had a friend who painted his fences with a spray gun, looked great. Next door weren't too happy though when they discovered their new Vectra covered in Cuprinol.... |
