SRV8 Springing Help

I have received this PM from a new member who is looking for some assistance with his SRV8 , Hopfully we will be able to help.

Quote from TonyC

Am new member, Not sure how to post messages on site so thought I would send it to you!! I am upgrading an SRV8 for hillclimb and sprint use. Can you help me?

"Can someone tell me what strength and size coil springs I should be using on a newly acquired SRV8?
The ones fitted are very soft and I am fitting a highly tuned engine for fast road use and sprinting.
The donor was an XJ6. the vehicle is 20 years old and has Spax adjustables"

Many thanks

Hi,I changed mine 1 year ago with Gaz Shocks with 450lbs +9" length front and 225lb+8 length for the rears. With 2.2ID springs, with a chevy motor fitted. :thumb:

Replace the worn crap shocks.

Give Dave at Gaz a call.
