| Re: exhaust pipes Hi Tony I have used Custom Chrome before and they as far as I aware still will supply bends straights etc as separate parts. The best person to speak to is Graham. I hope this helps.

| Re: exhaust pipes Dean and I used a company in somerset (bosal exhaust bits). Trouble is they are not mandrel bends (eg thinner as it goes around corners). Pig cheap at £3 for a 90degree 1 7/8" elbow. All in aluminiumised steel.

| Re: exhaust pipes I used this company for my perforated tube. http://www.milneroffroad.com/PIPE.HTM They also do 304 stainless components in various sizes. Also do a search for Dairy pipe on Yahoo or Google. There are some companies out there but they may not be interested in supplying small quantities. Craig.

| Re: exhaust pipes Tony, Summitt do a complete series of sets, and not stupid money either, 1.75" set , incl collectors flanges etc is $183, I think. theres enough to make a complete set of headers and some.

| Re: exhaust pipes I would recommend JP Exhausts. There is a link on the site somewhere. The can supply mandrel bends in a variety of diameters and radiuses (Radii?) All manufactured in house to your spec. They also do the dairy bends. In fact there is not much they don't know about exhausts. I have always had good service from them however they are short of a manager in the manifolds department at the moment so i think they may have a longer lead time than usual. Andy

| Re: exhaust pipes Hi Tony, I made mine out of 304 ss. There is a supplier called ABC Metals in Stoke on Trent (DB's mate) - can't remember the chaps name - very helpful. I designed an exhaust flange to cater for the metric equivalent of 13/4 tube, this was drawn in AUTOCAD on his profile cutting machine and stored so he can replicate the design - standard flanges were too narrow for the ports of my V8Development heads so these are more rounded to take the tube diameter. I bought a number of short radius bends to cut up as required for bends, DB supplied the tube. Obviously you need the welding kit but I recon I built a set of headers for about 120 quid. I've attached a cople of pics. Hope this helps.:thumb:
