Number plate light

Tried wiring this up the other day and found no current, Im I ok running power from the rear lights?

Hi Ben shouldn't be a problem as long as you make sure it is wired to the sidelights and not the brake lights. I don't understand why it wouldn't work the proper way, was the earth OK?

Hi Clive,

jolly good, dunno why its a no go, absolutly nothing from the positive direct to the chasis, or to the given earth, so yeah Im sure the earth was ok. I can't follow it back anywhere because Ive carpeted over all the lot

Anyway a solution will be fine
