| Re: fuel feed pipes The Dax tank feeds from a pipe right at the bottom of the tank. There is a small tank fitted to the bottom of the main tank and the pipe feeds from there. There is an attachment on my post near the bottom of this page, of a drawing I made of the Dax tank. Dax Cobra Craig.

| Re: fuel feed pipes I can think of a safety reason - a feed pipe that exits from the top of a tank is inherently safer than one that exits from the bottom, in the event of the pipe/tank join failing.

| Re: fuel feed pipes Purpel-AK The Idea of a swirl tank is OK but according to my knowledge, you need always separate the inlet from the outlet port to reduce turbulent movements at the area. So some adjustment to the drawings showed at the site will help to solve the problem. I have made a fast drawing so that you can understand what I mean. I put there and in-pigment tube with a hole at the opposite side of the inlet port. The hole should have the same or more surface as the outlet port. Regards, Cobra289
