Pushrod Suppliers

Hi all,

For those who are building their own engines or need a new set of pushrods I came across Smith Brothers who manufacture pushrods whilst doing a search on tinternet. I thought id post on the fordmuscle website to get opinions on this company & if you take a look at the link you will see this company gets nothing but praise:

Like I say just a heads up for those who are looking for pushrods.

Regards,
Martyn

Re: Pushrod Suppliers

Hi Guys,

Update on pushrod supply for the Ford 393 build. I contacted Smith Brothers in the US who were very friendly & exceptionally knowledgable. I sent my length checking pushrod to them & they measured it & have supplied me with a set of hardened 4130 chromolly 1 piece rods with 0.116" wall thickness, (standard is 0.080") for £75. The Compcams equivelant but with only 0.080" wall thickness is about the same price.
From my first call to Smith Brothers to the rods arriving this morning has taken 7 days & shipping cost was £6.

Highly, highly reccomended!!
