Lucas switches

Can anyone help me identify which terminal connects to what on the Lucas switches I just bought: 31743 is on/off/on for indicators 31780 is on/on for headlamp dip/main beam.

Also I have some rocker switches for rear fog and hazard. Large round pins at the back and a spade terminal on each side. Any thoughts on wiring these?

Thanks for your help

Ian

I found this site earlier. The wiring diagram for 31788 appears for both it and 31780! No diagram for 31743.

Not sure if the rocker switch pins match mine. I have printed it off and will check when I get home.

Thanks

Ian

Ian, I was just about to ask similar as I am using the Lucas switches. I will post any findings. If you do find more info would you please post it as it will help me greatly too.

Cheers,

Lucas switches

Lee

So far I have found the answers to the wiper switch 35927:

4 1st speed
8 Park
6 Ignition Live
2 2nd speed

and the light switch 31788:

4 power in
7 side
8 head - connect to dip switch

Will keep you posted!

Ian

i think you will find the indicator switches between term 7 and 2 in one position, and term 7 and 8 in the other with centre being off,the dip also uses 7 as common but switches between either term 8 or 6 depending on switch position(if that makes any sense)
