One or two side/wing mirrors for SVA?

I only want to run with one wing mirror post SVA. Do I need one on each side for the test itself?

could be a bit risky as they will test weather or not you have enough field of vision and if not you will fail, tyr to borrow one if you really don't want one.

I need to borrow an SVA compliant mirror anyway as the one I'm going to run with ...... errrr isn't. I'll borrow two to be on the safe side.

Which brings me to another question. I know this has been covered before somewhere but I can't find the postings : Do you mount the SVA compliant mirrors on the screen pillar as I obviously don't want drill the body for them? I think I read somewhere you use the screen mounting screw holes?

Hi Kev.
Yes the SVA mirrors mount on one of the original screws (abeit a longer screw) A n/s mirror is only required if the interior mirror doesn't meet the required field of view which is an area 20m wide centred on the mirror 60m back from the eyeline

Thanks Chris - that's cleared that up for me.
