| If you fit them above the side louvres then you can remove them after SVA and cover the holes with "Powered by" badges. Position for repeaters, to be sited within 2,600mm of front of vehicle. Front/rear within 400mm of outer edge of vehicle. Minimum seperation 500mm. Max height 1500mm. Min height 350mm. Side repeater visibility 5 degrees to 65 degree arc whe viewed directly behind vehicle. Colour Amber. Flashing rate of 60 - 100 per minute. Must also comply with radius check.

| side repeaters thanks for the replies. Iwant to fit the badges above vents, but also want to keep repeaters on after sva. Picked up some nice chrome oval ones . Do they actually get a tape measure out for the test to check them. |

| They have a big stick with marks on for measuring heights and a tape measure for ditances from front to rear. A lot will depend on the examiner who is testing your car, I think they will be more concerned with the main lights and indicators than side repeaters, but would you risk a fail because of it? Do the smart thing and get it right first time, if you look at the measurements there is a lot of leeway.

| My side repeaters are directly above the side vents. After having my wrists slapped on here about modifications post SVA, Also this could be a safety concern to other road users and it could also effect your insurance policy in the event of a claim. Craig.
