My other thought was to turn up a threaded adapter and drilling/tapping the spinner so that it locates on one big thread like a real spinner.
Mike I will sort a picture out tonight, but my spinners are as Myles descibes, I have a threaded adapter that fits in the wheel center and my spinners just wind on like real ones. Its the adapters I have concerns about.

Jeff

I had those wheels and spinners many moons back and there is slim chance of them coming off. They weigh next to nothing compared to the cast spinners and they are far better balanced as well.

Just as a side note I used the centre section with the cast spinners and had no problems, basically don't worry.

Years ago when I was a engineer we used to spot drill where the grub screw was going to locate and then tigten screw. If the thread is deep enough a further grub screw (Cupped End?)would be used behind the first to ensure no movement.

Carl.
