Edelbrock 500cfm carb

Dont know if anyone has posted this before, having had no experience with Edelbrock carbs (plenty with Holleys) and no manuals found the short videos quite a useful.

Very interesting but a bit useless in places! eg.. "Off idle surging is either caused by a lean mixture or a rich mixture"....very helpful

Still any info is worth a look!.

Pete

Point taken Pete

It was useful in so much I got to see the carb being taken apart, a lot of it was teaching your Gran to suck eggs! Still way better than a Haynes Manual!!!
Thought it would be useful for anyone who wants to have a go but lacking confidence seeing someone do it makes it a lot easier, shame Holley haven't done something similar on their website.

I agree, it is useful for pulling the carb apart.

There not a bad carb, easy to work on and simple to understand what bit effects what bit of the rev range. Enjoy your fiddling!

I'm off to weld up the end of the inlet valve on my Suffolk Punch lawnmower... I ground too much of the end whilst setting up the clearance!

It runs mushrooms cam followers....its one 5shit hot motor, I tell ya!

Regards,

Pete
