Any GD builder know what this is?

Looks like something to do with the Diff as the spacing is right for the rear diff mounting holes, anyone know what is is or where it goes?

Cheers

Andy,

it's the body (boot) support bracket - it fits under the rear diff carrier chassis bracket. You need to put it on at the same time as the carrier bracket before you drop the the chassis bolts through. If you look it has two small grounfs areas to clear the nylocs on the pivot shafts.

Are you suggesting there is also a "Front diff" on the GD?

It's easy to get confused when my wife (and other members of my automotively challenged familly) keep pointing to the engine bay and say "is that where you are going to sit then?"

They might want to - I don't think I do! Hence my inadvertant need to overemphasise the front/rear relationship!

Glad Someone's checking though!
