Door sill kick plates

Hi,

Does anyone know where to get door sill kick plates from? I think Dax only do the ones with Tojeiro written on them. I was hoping to find some with Cobra or AC Cobra.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Dax only do plain stainless steel ones. The ones with Tojeiro written on them you have seen are mine. I shot blasted the Tojeiro logo on myself in a small bead blasting cabinet.

There used to be some on E-bay with Cobra written on them I think.

Thanks Craig,

I'll order some tomorrow and have my own design etched onto them. I'm trying to find a pic of yours, any chance you can post one or two?.

It's quite easy to do.

I printed off the Tojeiro logo from the dax web page onto a sticky label sheet. I then stuck this to the top off a piece of sticky vinyl from my local sign writers scrap bin, Then cut out the shape with a sharp scalpel and stick it to you sill plates.
Cover all the rest of the sill plate with masking tape then bead blast the logo area. I used glass bead at about 20psi. keep the nozzle at 90 degrees to the surface as it will not lift the sticker. Once done used compressed air to clean all remaining grit off and peel off the masking.

I recommend trying a sample area first to perfect your technique.

I also did my Tax disc holder.

Craig.
